Active inverter

The inverters of Penta Wind’s turbines were designed specifically both for connecting to the electric grid and working off-grid. The system was created on an external switchboard, without transformer, and equipped with a double active inverter configuration (back to back) with DSP digital controls (Digital Signal Processor), that allows to manage the aerogenerator the most efficiently. The system is completed with remote supervision, allowing to constantly optimize the performance parameters of the turbine and maximize the energy production.

EN1090 Certification

EN1090: is a standard in line with the European Regulation (UE) n. 305/2011 (CPR), describing the requisites and modalities for the application of the CE Marking on structural components such as steel for wind turbines and aluminum present in the market as construction products. The standard requires all soldering operations to be carried out in accordance to the quality requisites established by the ISO 3834 series regulations, depending on the declared execution class.

IEC 61400 Certification with ICIM

IEC 61400: is the international standard for the design of wind turbines. This standard describes the procedures to follow for structural calculations and choice of components, in order to insure the correct performance of the machine for the length of its expected functioning life. Additionally, it evaluates the entire production chain of the turbine.
